      Open Justice Bromley invites you to experience justice in action at Bromley Magistrates' Court. If you live in London and would like to observe a court and have a magistrate explain how it works and their role in the delivery of justice you can book a ticket here. The principle of open justice is an essential element of the English justice system.  Virtually all criminal cases start in a magistrates' court, and more than 90 per cent will be completed there and anyone over 14 can attend court to watch a criminal trial and/or sentencing taking place.  You are welcome to come alone or as a group of up to 8 (you'll need one ticket each). Tickets are available for the first Tuesday of each month.  Attend the Court on your selected day at 9:30 am to meet your magistrate host and see justice in action from 10:00 am - 12 noon (be prepared to show your ticket and for airport-style security). Privacy: your personal data will be used only for the purposes of registration, attendance, and then afterwards to ask you what you thought of this event.  They are held under the constraints of the Data Protection Act 1998, and compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679. FAQs What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event? There is a public carpark directly opposite the court entrance on Beckenham Lane.  Bromley has two railway stations: Bromley South and Bromley North, the court is within walking distance of both.  The town is well served with busses, and the 227, 354, 358, 208 and 320 stop near the court.  What can I bring into the event? Bromley Magistrates Court has airport-style security.  you will be searched on entry. Do I have to bring my ticket to the event? Yes, you must show your ticket to your host Magistrate when you arrive.   Is my ticket transferrable? No.   Is it ok if the name on my ticket doesn't match the person who attends? No. The name on the ticket should match the person who attends.
