      Can Anyone Be An Activist?
Location: TOMS store, London, W1F 7PY

Can We Just Ask x TOMS are partnering to create a series of discussions made up of interviews and live panel events to fuel conversations that matter, bringing together thought-leaders, experts and personalities to provide insight around a particular topic or question.

Each event will tackle a different theme or topic, allowing our audience to delve into the subject with a range of different media covering a spectrum of questions and lines of thought.

      Can We Just Ask Panel

Our fourth event will be discussing Can Anyone Be An Activist? and Can We Just Ask hosts, Annie Clarke and Will Clempner will be joined by:
Gina Martin, Writer and Political Activist
Alice Aedy, Photo Journalist, Documentary Film Director and Activist
      More TBA soon
The conversation will ask questions about activism, the downfalls and its successes: Is activism inherently inaccessible beyond a certain sector of society? Are organisations like Extinction Rebellion too unrelatable to ever make a big enough impact beyond their supporters? How does community activism help to project the voice of society and how can everyone get involved? Does community activism need to adapt to the digital world, or is it already one-step ahead? What's next for community activism, and how can we raise the voice of the smaller organisations who are already making a big impact?

As always, the panel will be audience-led. We encourage everyone in the room to be part of the conversation, to make statements, ask questions and share their thoughts - there's no such thing as a stupid question.

The tickets are £6 (includes VAT), and the £5 ticket price will go directly to support The Mix, who are a UK based charity that provides free, confidential support for young people under 25 via online, social and mobile.
