Eye Tracking: Introduction to EyeLink | Goldsmiths University

Renowned for their high sampling rates and exceptional levels of accuracy and precision, EyeLink systems are used in top laboratories worldwide. In this unique course, SR Research will provide extensive hands-on training in EyeLink systems, demonstrating how to maximise data quality, and introduce software for Experiment Builder stimulus presentation and Data Viewer analysis. The course is for researchers who are relatively new to eye tracking, or would like to refresh their existing knowledge. EyeLink eye trackers are behind some of the most innovative eye tracking research to emerge in the last 20 years. This introductory course is aimed at researchers who are new to eye tracking, as well as those who would like to refresh their existing knowledge, and who want to be sure they are getting the most from their EyeLink system. The course is split into two main sections. In the morning, participants will learn how EyeLink systems work, how to set them up optimally, how to use the Host PC software, and how to record high quality data. There will be ample opportunity for hands on experience, as a number of different systems and camera mounts will be available. In the afternoon, the course will focus on software - learning to use Experiment Builder stimulus presentation software and Data Viewer analysis software.
